A case for perennial food cultivation and biodiversity in our crops

"The human species has domesticated the planet, undermining vital ecological processes, while creating a culture and environment to which our physiology is a mismatch. A case study of perennial plant-based cultivation, a technique gaining considerable traction in the growing permaculture movement and elsewhere is subsequently undertaken to demonstrate one potential means of re-integrating humans into wider ecological processes."
